Import project

The "Import project (.slvp)" button is located in the top-right section of the launcher, allowing the incorporation of existing SquareLine Vision projects into the workspace. It provides access to projects that don't appear in your recent projects list, helping to retrieve archived work or collaborate with files shared by team members.

To import a project:

Users can import projects in the .slvp format only.

  1. Click the "Import project (.slvp)" button in the launcher
  2. Browse local files to locate the .slvp file you wish to import
  3. Click the "Open" button to complete the import

Successfully imported projects will appear in the Recents section of the launcher, where you can access them anytime.

To export a project:

If a user is working on a project in the editor, they can export it as an .slvp file at any time by:

  1. Hovering on the SquareLine Vision logo in the top-left corner
  2. Selecting "Save to project file" from the dropdown menu
